IACP Wellness Challenge 8.3.0

The IACP Wellness Challenge has introduced an innovative app at the 2023 OSW Symposium, which took place from March 3-5 in Anaheim, California. Sponsored by FirstNet, built with AT&T, this initiative aims to motivate attendees to participate in health-oriented activities while fostering a spirit of friendly competition.

The app enables users to monitor their step counts conveniently via their smartphones, compatible with Apple Health or data from popular fitness trackers such as Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Watch, and Heka Health devices. This functionality supports participants in achieving their wellness goals while potentially earning prizes.

By focusing on officer safety and wellness, the Challenge underscores the importance of enhancing both the health and effectiveness of law enforcement personnel, ultimately contributing to the safety of our communities.
